Preparing for Leadership (4 days)

This 4-day programme is designed to help develop the essential leadership skills needed to influence and motivate others, build effective teams, improve performance and succeed in creating lasting change.

The programme is based upon the fundamental principles of Adair's 'Action Centred Leadership' model, and is composed of an introductory day 'Exploring Leadership Essentials', and then three further days - each built around one of Adair's areas of leadership focus i.e. task, team & individual needs.

"The task of the leader is to get people from where they are to where they have not been."

Henry Kissinger

'Preparing for Leadership' contains a stimulating balance of activities, exercises and underpinning theory - all made as relevant as possible to the nature of your organisation and the reality of the participants' roles. It is available as an in-house or locally delivered event, or as a 2-day public course.

Who would benefit most?

Anyone with aspirations to develop or improve their leadership qualities - including recently appointed managers and team leaders, or those more experienced managers with limited structured development.
